Sarah Haider-Nash studied political science, German and human rights at the universities of Vienna, Edinburgh and Glasgow and subsequently completed her PhD in political science at the University of Hamburg’s Cluster of Excellence “Integrated Climate System Analysis and Prediction” (CliSAP). Her doctoral research focused on international politics and discourses on climate change and migration. Her first book, Negotiating Migration in the Context of Climate Change, was published by Bristol University Press in 2019 and received the Recognition Award of the State of Lower Austria. Her research interests include climate change and migration policy (especially in Europe), international climate negotiations, climate change legislation, and climate policy in parliamentary systems.
